Art should be entertaining. There is no purpose in angst ridden self analysis not for the viewer anyway - there is a lot to be gained out of the theraputic effect of creation, however I believe that for art to be truly uplifting and powerful it should be pleasing to the eye! Pickled sheep and plain white canvases just don't cut it with me!

Everything I do is worked out with that pleasure in mind, I want to create something to lift the spirit, to make people feel something, to make them happy, aroused, relaxed. My art brings me joy - and I don't want to keep that to myself. I want to share it, for everyone to be able to see what I do and get something out of it. I didn't go to school but was home educated, which meant I had plenty of time on my hands, put to good use painting and drawing anything and everything that came my way! I grew up on a Scottish island, with huge skies and sea, amazing sunsets and stone circles, which inspired me greatly when I was starting out.
